Nadda, Yogi, Shah hold rallies to support BJP picks

Tuesday, 21 May 2024 | Saumya Shukla | New Delhi

Top three BJP leaders –Union Home Minsiter Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and party President JP Nadda — held rallies and addressed public gathering in support of party candidates in the national Capital on Monday.

Referred as Hindu Hriday Samrat and Maharaj ji, Adityanath attacked the INDIA Boc with full force and said, “ INDIA alliance is nervous because of Uttar Pradesh’s bulldozer. They speak the language of Pakistan. Everyone knows their connection with terrorists in Punjab. These people gave support to Shaheen Bagh’s protest. Inko pata hai ki UP ka bulldozer dangaiyon ka ilaj hai (They know that the solution for trouble makers is UP’s bulldozer),” said Adityanath, who was addressing a public gathering at Mayur Vihar Phase 3 in support of BJP candidate Harshdeep Malhotra for East Delhi.

Further he said that the people know who they are going to bring and I know it. “Jo Ram ko laye hai hum unko layenge aur Mathura bhi jayenge,” Yogi said, adding that the INDI alliance opposes the construction of the temple and hence people should decide wisely who they want to vote.

Attacking the AAP, he said, “AAP has haulted so many developmental projects of the Central government. Agar galat jagah button dabega, to abhi to Arvind Kejriwal ki team jhadu laga rahi h kal aapko bhi lagana padega. (If you press the wrong button, you will have to use the broom just like the AAP team is doing)”

"Remember AAP. They have a dual character. They carried out a movement against the Congress under Anna Hazare. AAP is the first party that has been named in a corruption charge sheet as an accused. "From top to bottom, it is immersed in corruption. We do not have to let them get powerful. They will spread like Raktbeej (a demon) if you vote for them.

In his speech, Yogi talked about his style of maintaining ‘law and order’ while stating, “ab danga nahi hota, ab ek patta bhi nahi hilta. Ab koi road pe UP me namaz bhi nahi padta. Aur to aur humne masjido se speaker bhi hata diye hai.”

Meanwhile, about 20,000 bjp workers and supporters gathered with enthusiasm and anticipation to witness Amit Shah addresses them in support of BJP candidate Ramvir Singh Bidhuri ji at Sangam Vihar’s Chath Ground. In a scathing attack to Kejriwal, Shah said on odd days, Arvind Kejriwal lectures on corruption by listing the corrupt. On even days, he allies with the corrupt and becomes part of the INDI Alliance.

“I haven't seen a man like Kejriwal taking a U-turn in politics till date. He left his job and made NGO and took the oath of his children. They used to say that we will not enter politics, politics is dirty and then made a party”.

“Congress and the INDI alliance are saying that we shouldn't talk about Pakistan-occupied Kashmir because Pakistan has atom bomb. However, we - the BJP - is not going to get afraid. The PoK belongs to us, and we will take it back," said Shah, adding that the grand old party won’t be seen even with binoculars after elections.

He further stated that in just four phases of voting that have taken place in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has got a majority of 270 seats and with the completion of all the seven phases, BJP will get 400 plus seats.

In support of BJP candidate Bansuri Swaraj for New Delhi, BJP chief held a huge roadshow at Malviya Nagar, which witnessed scores of supporters showering flower petals on him.Nadda said, “Spreading confusion, lying, misleading people from real issues is the way of thinking of Congress Party, INDIA alliance. BJP is very clear that we are winning 400 plus seats because we are getting blessings of people."

Attacking AAP chief and Chief Minsiter Arvind Kejriwal, he said, "It is clear that for selfish needs he made all sorts of compromises. He started stating that I will not do corruption but went to jail. During his earlier days he said I will not make a party but then formed a party. He also said that I will not contest elections but then did contest elections. He said he will not form an agreement with Congress but did it. He claimed to respect women but a woman was assaulted at his residence. The people have understood and BJP will win the elections.”
