On the innovative initiative of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), a three-day long FPO Mela-Tarang was organized with the objective of celebrating the togetherness of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in Madhya Pradesh and showcasing each other's best and exemplary works and sharing experiences. The event is being organized in the Agricultural College premises, Indore. FPO Mela-Tarang was inaugurated by Deputy Managing Director NABARD Dr. Ajay Kumar Sood and Chief General Manager NABARD RO Bhopal Sunil Kumar.
An exclusive platform for Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) to promote and market their products. The fair is being organized by NABARD in collaboration with Small Farmers Agri-Business Consortium (SFAC) and Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). This fair ended on March 3. In the fair, more than 45 farmer producer organizations of the state, Madhya Bharat Consortium and BAF Lively Hoods are exhibiting and promoting their respective products and providing detailed information to the farmers.
On this occasion, Dr. K.N. Pathak Dean Agriculture College, Sunil Sharma Chairman Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank Indore, Pankaj Yadav General Manager NABARD, Qamar Javed General Manager NABARD, S.C. Sahu Deputy General Manager, Avinash Sewalkar Deputy General Manager NABARD, V.B. Dyasa Regional Director BAEF Nashik, Pawan Patidar State Head BAEF Bhopal, Nagesh Chaurasia DDM NABARD Indore were also present.
