With nocturnal inspections becoming a trend in the state, Bhopal (Huzur) MLA Rameshwar Sharma inspected various localities in the Kolar area of the state capital late on Friday night.
Sharma arrived in the area following a meeting with Public Works Department (PWD) and Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials.Carrying out the post-midnight inspections, Sharma reviewed the ongoing Kolar six-lane project and other road-building activities at Danish Kunj and Hinotiyla Alam. The legislator pointed out various deficiencies to officials and issued stern directives for improvements in civic amenities.
Sharma also visited Mandakini Square, Bima Kunj, Demart, and Bairagarh Chichli, where he directed officials to accelerate construction work. Key directives included the completion of road construction at Sarvadharm Bridge, the development of parking spaces at the Kolar trisection, and the installation of additional streetlights in high-traffic zones.
Sharma further instructed the removal of transformers from road dividers at Mandakini Square and the installation of two additional high-mast lights at a prominent traffic intersection in the area.
He reiterated that all efforts are underway to ensure the timely completion of the Kolar Six-Lane project. He said that the main road in the area will be fully open to the public in the new year.
