Mithila Academy Public School, Sector 4, Bokaro, achieved remarkable success at the CBSE Cluster Kho-Kho Tournament 2024-25, held in Giridih from September 9 to 13.
In the Under-17 Boys' category, Mithila Academy defeated Crescent Public School 19-15 in the finals, claiming the winner's trophy and qualifying for the CBSE National Kho-Kho Championship in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh. Captain Ayush Kumar was named Best Defender.
In the Under-19 Girls' category, the team finished as runners-up after a strong performance in the semi-finals. Poonam Kumari won the Best Runner award.
During the tournament, the teams were accompanied by coach Mr. Deepak Kumar and female escort Parvati. The school's Secretary P.K. Jha (Chandan) and Principal A.K. Pathak extended heartfelt congratulations to the victorious teams and wished them success in their future endeavors.
