Mayor Malti Rai on Sunday led the cleanliness campaign at JP Hospital, TT Nagar Stadium, and the upmarket Chuna Bhatti locality in the state capital.City-wide sanitation drives are held as part of the ongoing 'Cleanliness is Service Fortnight.'
Inspecting sanitation arrangements at JP Hospital, Rai advised those visiting the health facility to help maintain hygienic conditions.She also held discussions with doctors and staff at the government-run health facility.
Following a thorough assessment of the premises, Rai instructed officials to ensure that sanitation and hygiene are upgraded in the vicinity of the hospital.On the day, Rai also led cleanliness campaigns at TT Nagar Stadium and Chuna Bhatti locality.
She participated in the sanitation effort by collecting waste.The Mayor also planted 101 saplings on the central verge in front of Kamla Nehru School-Kali Baari along with the Clean City Group.
"Cleanliness is not just a campaign; it is a habit, a responsibility, and a vision for a better future," said Rai while interacting with citizens on the occasion.The cleanliness drive was attended by MiC member RK Singh Baghel, Zone Presidents Brijula Sachan and Aarti Aneja, Councillor Praveen Saxena, and various residents who actively participated in the campaign.
The Mayor has been leading cleanliness initiatives across the city in an effort to motivate residents, public representatives, and municipal employees to make a greater contribution to the enhancement of sanitation and hygiene in the state capital.
