In a joining organized at Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) headquarter on Saturday, BJP Leader Lal Suraj Singh from Palamu, Chetna Sagar from Ranchi, Dr. P. Nayyar, Advocate Khurshid Alam, Meera Hameed Mahuadar, Shashi Panna from Latehar, along with hundreds of people, took membership of Congress.

These people took membership of Congress in the presence of State Congress President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh and Legislative Party Leader Dr. Rameshwar Oraon.

On this occasion, Kamlesh made the people take membership by garlanding them and tying a bandage on their wrist. After this, while welcoming the newcomers, he said that Congress has its own policies, principles and a glorious history.

The party State President said that what has been the contribution of the people of Congress from independence to the construction of the country, what sacrifice and sacrifice has been made, is not hidden from anyone. "Today, the people who have decided to join Congress have joined not out of any selfishness but because they are influenced by the Congress ideology. Its positive results will be seen in the upcoming assembly elections in various areas. Congress believes in following traditions and today the youth is leaning towards Congress. Certainly, in the coming times in Jharkhand, the youth will participate in a historic election result," he said.

On the occasion, the legislative party leader Dr. Rameshwar Oraon said that the history of Congress is for the development of the people and to protect their rights. Congress has given rights to the tribals. "Arrangements have been made for their development within the ambit of constitutional provisions. When the Constitution was being conceived in this country, the provision of reservation for the educational and economic development of tribals and Dalits was felt and arrangements were made for it. Congress talks about development and uniting, BJP talks about dividing. In the upcoming elections, due to these policies of BJP, the people will completely reject them," he said.
