KG student molested in washroom of private school

A case of alleged molestation and sexual assault with a 5-year-old girl was reported with Aishbagh police; girl claimed that a man did wrong things, police said that nothing of atrocity nature has been verified.

Police received information about a 5-year-old girl being molested. The girl, who reached home from school, told her mother that the uncle with the school van had gone to drop other children when another uncle came and molested her. The family took the girl to the police station and reported the incident.

The girl studies in KG (kindergarten) class in a private school in Aishbagh area.

Additional DCP Rashmi Agarwal also reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. Police have seized DVRs of CCTV cameras of a shop near the incident spot. Police are investigating the incident.

This is the second case of molestation of an innocent girl in four days in the capital. Earlier, an IT teacher had made a three-year-old girl his victim in the washroom of a private school in Kamla Nagar police station area.

The police reached the incident spot. Investigated the CCTV installed in the nearby shops.

The girl is a resident of a locality in Aishbagh. She goes to school by van. She was coming home in a van on Saturday after school. The driver parked the van in front of Shri Provision Store.

After this, he dropped some children and went to drop them to their homes. He returned after about 5 minutes and then dropped the girl at her home. The girl started crying as soon as she saw her mother at home. When her mother asked, she said that an uncle did dirty things with her in the van.

Police have seized DVRs installed in the provision store. TI Jitendra Garhwal and staff also checked the footage of a junk shop next to the store.

ACP Sunil Srivastava said that the girl's family came to the police station with some confusion. Which was confirmed. At present, no wrongdoing has been confirmed with the girl.

DCP Priyanka Shukla said that small children often get confused about the place of incident. Therefore, the matter is being verified. The girl will be counseled by experts from the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) on Sunday.

The girl had complained that the uncle (van driver) had parked the van to drop other children. Meanwhile, another uncle came and touched her inappropriately. However, the other children in the van have not confirmed this incident.
