The Faculty of Commerce at Karim City College, Jamshedpur, has been recognized for its remarkable contribution to skill development and promoting employment opportunities. The Board of Practical Training, Eastern Region, Ministry of Education, Government of India, awarded the college during the Regional Apprenticeship Day celebration held on September 7, 2024, in Kolkata.
This recognition follows the successful organization of a two-day Apprenticeship cum Job Mela, which took place on September 14-15, 2023. Organized in collaboration with the Board of Practical Training, Eastern Region, Kolkata, the event was a part of the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). It provided a platform for students to enhance their skills and connect with potential employers, underscoring the institution's commitment to fostering job readiness among its students.
Dr. Md. Moazzam Nazri, Head of the Faculty of Commerce and the College Nodal Officer for NATS, served as the Coordinator of the event and proudly accepted the award on behalf of the college.
