Karam Eve Milan Samaroh organised

A Karam Purva Milan ceremony cum Larkudiya program was organized by Naurpump Trust in the residential school located in Bonga village of Kisco block, in which Honorable MP of Lohardaga Lok Sabha Sukhdev Bhagat was present as the chief guest and former police station in-charge as the special guest. Jagarnath Oraon was included. On reaching the venue, the chief guest and special guest were welcomed by washing their feet as per tribal tradition.

Addressing the program, Bhagat said that we have to preserve the tradition and heritage of our ancestors. Even though our ancestors may not have been educated at that time, they understood the importance of the Karam tree. This tree provides oxygen 24 hours a day, today people all over the world are benefiting from it. Karam Parva inspires us to conserve nature. We all should be proud of being tribal. 

Bhagat said that the tribal society is neither atheist nor theist, it is real because it worships the real nature. He congratulated everyone on the occasion of Karma Parv. Special guest Jagarnath Oraon said that to move our society forward, we will have to focus on education and stay away from drug abuse. He congratulated the organization for opening a residential school in Bonga village by Naurpump Trust and providing education to the tribal children according to their customs and traditions. A large number of villagers including Sanjeev Oraon, Sunita Oraon, Santosh Oraon, Sanjay Mahali, Mahendra Oraon, Ravi Tigga, Pandit Oraon, Alok Kumar Sahu, Phooldev Oraon were present on the occasion.
