JMM mocks at AJSU Party, calls it a ‘political parasite’

Tuesday, 10 September 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), on Monday termed the AJSU Party a "Political Parasite" and mocked it for its day dreaming. The JMM said that the party will contest on four to five seats in upcoming State Assembly elections and it is planning to make Government in the State.

Addressing a press meet, JMM General Secretary cum Spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya, without naming AJSU, said that in the last elections, a party was reduced to only two seats because the party with whose support it had contested the elections, had refused to form an alliance with them. He said that yesterday on September 8, this party organized a gathering of youth to divert them from the main issue. He said that he listened carefully to the things that were discussed in this meeting. "In this, the country's growth rate was discussed and it was said that the growth rate is linked to employment.

The JMM leader said, similar things were said, which have no meaning in today's situation.

Bhattacharya said that this party, which is called a village party, i.e. AJSU, is demanding seats from BJP. He said that a BJP leader told him these things. He said that their election in-charge, the Chief Minister of Assam, these days stays less in Assam and more in Jharkhand. He said that if they contest the elections with AJSU, then the party which will contest on 4 or 5 seats is preparing the blueprint of the upcoming state government. He said that people have also come to know the reality of this party, that is why PM Modi is coming on September 15. "They do not have confidence in themselves. After this, more BJP leaders will be called to Jharkhand. He said that it is surprising that the party which is drawing the blueprint of the upcoming Government will contest elections on four or five seats," he said.

The party's general secretary questioned BJP and AJSU that why are you so afraid of the Hemant government. He said that their main problem is that they do not have any issue to contest elections here. "Now they have started fearing the schemes started by the Hemant Government for every section of the society. He said, you will remember that Madhu Koda who has gone to BJP today, had a Minister from AJSU in his Government. The party had two MLAs and the other MLA was in the opposition. This means that no opportunity should be missed. He said, we say this again and again that there should be a political bargain, there should be a debate, but these people are political parasites. These people want to contest elections and do politics with the support of others," he said.
