Jeweller robbed at gunpoint in Keonjhar

Unknown miscreants looted gold and silver ornaments at gunpoint from a jewellers son in the Tangerpada village under the Patna police station area in Keonjhar district on Friday evening. 

 

According to reports, Bablu Rana has a jewellery  shop at Tangerpada market. In the evening, Bablu's son Abhijeet closed the shop as usual and returned home with gold and silver with a bag. 

 

Near his house suddenly four masked miscreants in a motorbike and snatched the bag containing the ornaments by firing in the air.  

 

According to the victims, besides gold jewellery worth lakhs, half kg of silver was there in the bag. After getting information, a team of Patna police station started a search in the area by sealing the roads.
