The body of junior line man Vinod Ram Rawani, working at Kadhama sub station of Gomia of Jharkhand State Electricity Distribution Corporation Limited, was found hanging from a tree here on Monday late night.  Vinod Ram's body was found hanging from a tree half a kilometer away from his house, said police.

As soon as the family members came to know about the incident, they immediately informed the local police. As soon as the information was received, Gomia police reached the spot and started an investigation.

Regarding the incident, it was told that 48 year old Vinod Ram Rawani had gone from home to Kadhama sub station for duty on the night of 28 January.  But when he did not return the next day, the family members started searching. When we inquired in the department, we got information that he had left from here at 1 pm on January 29 after doing night duty.

When the family members failed to search on their own, they informed the local police.  When the police started searching on the basis of his mobile location, the location of Gomia's Ravani tola was traced.  A search was conducted on the basis of location, but he was not found.

At around 1 o'clock on Monday night, villagers and family members saw his dead body hanging from a tree at a distance of half a kilometer from the ONGC plant, half a kilometer away from the house, and this information was immediately given to the police in the night itself.

Police force reached the spot and took the body into their custody. Vinod has a wife and two daughters.
