According to the latest report by the Board of Revenue, Jaunpur has emerged as the frontrunner in resolving revenue disputes, with Ghazipur and Sultanpur close behind.
Other districts, including Lakhimpur Kheri, Hardoi, and Kushinagar, also secured spots in the top ten, showcasing the widespread impact of these efforts.
Under this, the district magistrates and other officers concerned of the state are resolving the cases with full promptness.
Jaunpur DM Dinesh Kumar Singh said that revenue cases are being resolved as per the wishes of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
According to the Revenue Court Computerised Management System (RCCMS) report of the Board of Revenue for November, five revenue courts of Jaunpur have disposed of more cases than the standard disposal set by the board.
Five revenue courts of Jaunpur have disposed of 567 cases against the board’s standard of disposal of 250 cases per month. Its percentage is 226.80.
DM Dinesh Singh said, “The District Magistrate Court achieved 403.33 per cent by disposing of 121 cases against the set standard of 30 cases. Similarly, the additional district magistrate (finance and revenue) performed 364 per cent by disposing of 182 cases against the set standard of 50.”
He added: “At the same time, the Additional District Magistrate Land Revenue Court disposed of 121 cases against the set standard of 50 and the Additional SDM Second Court disposed of 143 cases against the standard of 60, performing 238.33 per cent. As a result, these courts in Jaunpur have secured the top position in case disposal across the entire state.”
Four courts of Ghazipur disposed of 251 cases against the standard of 190, with a ratio of 132.11 per cent. With this, Ghazipur has secured the second position.
Meanwhile, six courts of Sultanpur secured third position by disposing of 320 cases against the standard of 350. Its ratio is 91.43 per cent.
Similarly, according to the standards of the Board of Revenue, Kushinagar, Ballia, Hardoi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Basti, Saharanpur, and Mainpuri have made their place in the top ten in the disposal of revenue dispute cases.
Among these, Kushinagar disposed of 208, Ballia 98, Hardoi 205, Lakhimpur Kheri 197, Basti 189, Saharanpur 119, and Mainpuri disposed of 136 cases in November.
Lakhimpur Kheri District Magistrate Durgashakti Nagpal said, “As many as 197 cases have been disposed of against the Revenue Board’s prescribed disposal standard of 300 cases. With this, Kheri is in seventh place in the state in terms of disposal.”
He noted that, as the largest district in the state, it handles the highest volume of cases.
In line with CM Yogi’s directives, revenue cases are being prioritised for swift resolution. Following the release of the board’s report, a meeting was convened with all relevant officers, emphasising the need to accelerate case disposal efforts.
