Jamshedpur’s Kanishka, a distinguished officer of the 2021 IAS batch, Karnataka Cadre, currently serving as Assistant Commissioner and Sub Divisional Magistrate in Karwar, has been awarded the prestigious Best Revenue Officer of the Year 2024 award. The accolade recognises his exceptional service and exemplary performance in the field of revenue administration.
The award was presented by the Revenue Minister, Krishna Byre Gowda, at a grand ceremony held in Bangalore. Several senior bureaucrats and officials from the Government of Karnataka were in attendance to witness the event, lauding Kanishka's commitment to public service and his innovative approach to resolving revenue-related issues. Kanishka is a former student of Loyola School, Jamshedpur.
Since his appointment as Assistant Commissioner, Kanishka has been instrumental in implementing policies aimed at improving public access to revenue services, streamlining land records management, and ensuring prompt grievance redressal. His dedication and leadership have not only benefited the citizens of Karwar but have also set a high standard for revenue administration across the state.
