Woman manager of general insurance company was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her rented apartment in Awadhpuri in the evening on Wednesday; police suspects she committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance but nothing was found which confirms this.
At the time when police entered the room of Neha Vijayvargiya, she was not dressed completely and froth was coming out of her mouth.
Their was nothing found which suggests that poisonous substance was taken by the deceased.
She was living in this rented room for seven months. She went to the room on the night of October 22 and later found dead on October 23.
She was the niece of former municipal president of Rajgarh Sunil Vijayvargiya. The aunt is also a Congress leader.
The police said that despite continuous calls, the daughter did not pick up the call after which Neha's mother called the landlord and informed him about the matter. When the landlord arrived, the door of the room was found locked from inside. After this, the police was informed. The police have not found any suicide note from the spot. The woman's mobile has been seized. The body was handed over to the family on Wednesday. After this, the last rites were performed in Rajgarh.
The police are investigating all possibilities of occurrence of death. Last call was on Tuesday night
According to TI Roshanlal Bharti, Neha haield from Rajgarh. She lived on rent on the second floor of a house in Nirmal Palace in Avadhpuri and was a manager in a private insurance company located on Hoshangabad Road. Neha last spoke to her family at night on Tuesday. She informed that she had reached home. On Wednesday, her mother kept calling throughout the day, but she did not pick up.
Neha was from a political family but was self-reliant and wanted to make her own place apart from politics. Neha's aunt Namrata Vijayvargiya is a Congress leader.
Her uncle Sunil Vijayvargiya has been the former president of the Municipality from Rajgarh. She was married, but was living separately from her husband. Both are divorced. She was living separately from her husband for 11 years. Neha was married in Ujjain.
When the police recovered the body, foam was coming out of her mouth. Along with this, vomit was also found in the room. This suggests that the woman committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance. However, no poison bottle or any pill wrapper has been found from the room.
Police said that the real cause of death can be revealed only after investigation. The family members have expressed the fear of something untoward happening to Neha. The family members argue that she cannot commit suicide. Someone must have poisoned her and killed her.
However, since the room gate was locked from inside, it is less likely that someone would have poisoned her. Further action will be taken after the detailed statements of the family members.
