RPF nabs youth with 13.5 kg of ganja
RPF has caught a youth with ganja from Ranchi railway station. The youth was taking a consignment of ganja to Bihar. Under Operation Narcos, RPF women staff Pratima Kumari and Aarti Barla saw suspicious items with a person near the luggage scanners machine of RPF post Ranchi. The women personnel informed Post In-Charge D Sharma about this. On receiving the information, Sharma, Sub Inspector Suraj Pandey and Sohan Lal reached there and interrogated the person. During interrogation, he told his name as Vicky Kumar. He told that he is a resident of Nalanda, Bihar. He told that there is ganja in the trolley bag. On receiving the information, Assistant Security Commissioner Ashok Kumar Singh reached there. After this, that trolley bag was checked. On investigation, 13.5 kg of ganja was recovered from the bag. Its estimated market price is Rs 1.35 lakh. After taking complete information, RPF handed over the arrested youth to GRP along with the seized ganja.
CCL organises a Blood donation camp
A blood donation camp was organized as part of the Vigilance Awareness Campaign-24 at the Magadh Sanghmitra Area CCL, by Sadar Hospital, Ranchi, in collaboration with Civil Society, Khalari. The collected blood will be used to support children suffering from thalassemia .The camp was inaugurated by NN Singh, General Manager, Magadh Sanghmitra Area and he also donated blood to encourage others to voluntarily donate blood. Altogether 126 units of blood were donated by various stakeholders including employees, villagers, representatives of trade unions, employees of private companies engaged in mining business during the much awaited camp.
