A daylong, all-India seminar on 'Control & Optimization of Electric Vehicles (EVs)', sponsored by the Institution of Engineers (India), was organized by the Electrical Engineering Department at MediCaps University, Indore. The event featured three expert lectures and a hands-on session, conducted by industry experts and prominent professors from nationally renowned institutes.
The Inauguration program commenced with the rendition of the esteemed guests of honor included the honorable Vice Chancellor of MediCaps University, Prof. (Dr.) D. K. Patnaik, and the distinguished chief guest, Dr. Shailendra Sharma, Professor at SGSITS, Indore. Additionally, Mr. Dinesh Kumar Shukla, Chairman, and Mr. Ramesh Singh Chouhan, Secretary of IE(I), were graciously welcomed with dignitaries .
The audience of the seminar was engineering faculties from India and was also attended by the students. Firstly, Dr. M. Murali told the audience about the objective of the seminar. After that Dinesh Kumar Shukla, Chairman, IE(I), Indore local centre spoke about Institution of Engineers (India) and its various activities. Then, Vice Chancellor of the MediCaps University Prof. (Dr.) D. K. Patnaik discussed about the usage of electric vehicles as the future mode of transport.
In the inaugural technical session of the All India Seminar on 'Control & Optimization of Electric Vehicles', Dr. Shailendra Sharma delivered an insightful discourse on the various components of electric vehicles, captivating the audience with his expertise in electric vehicle charging technologies. Following this, Sonu Singh, Founder & CEO of Shiksha Jn. Pvt. Ltd., delved into different controller designs employed for diverse operations within electric vehicles during the second technical session. The third session, led by expert Pemendra Pardhi, Senior Design Engineer at Castnex Private Limited, Dewas, provided further depth on the subject matter.
In the subsequent hands-on session, Pardhi actively engaged the audience, showcasing and discussing the controller and driver circuit board with fervor. The program garnered patient and enthusiastic participation from both faculty and students alike.
Attendees seized the opportunity to interact with the experts, resolving their queries and gaining deeper insights into electric vehicle system operations. Under the esteemed guidance and support of Chancellor RC Mittal, Pro-Chancellor Gopal Agrawal, OSD to Chancellor Palash Garg, Director of Branding and Promotion Saloni Garg, Pro-Vice Chancellor DK Panda, Registrar Panneer selvam Siluvainatha, Dean of Engineering Dr. Pramod S. Nair, Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Shilpa Tripathi, and HOD Dr. M. Murali, the seminar successfully advanced understanding in the field of electric vehicle control and optimization.
