There have been fundamental changes in development works across the country and the state. The double engine government has taken up the task of fulfilling the dreams of the martyrs by launching new schemes, he said.

Saini said that the state government has included the biography of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji in the history textbook for the 9th grade under the Haryana School Education Board. This inclusion is a true tribute to him, he said.

The Chief Minister said that Shaheed Udham Singh was a great revolutionary who vowed in his youth to avenge the Jallianwala Bagh massacre by General Dyer. He said that after 21 years of intense dedication, Shaheed Udham Singh avenged the massacre by shooting General Dyer at a public meeting.  He also announced Rs 51 lakh for the construction of Kamboj Dharamshalas at various locations, including Sirsa, Karnal, Radaur, Bhuna, Kurukshetra, Ratia, and Jagadhri.
