A Home Guard died while taking part in a refreshers’ course training at the Police Reserve Ground here on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as BasudevMansingh, a resident of Khordha.
As per reports, Basudev had been assigned duty at the Airfield police station. He along with others was receiving the refreshers’ course training at the Police Reserve Ground when he died. The reason behind his death was yet to be ascertained.
Following the incident, his body was taken to the Capital Hospital for post-mortem.
Meanwhile, the Saheed Nagar police started an investigation into the death after registering an UD case.
