Chhattisgarh School and Higher Education Minister Brijmohan Agrawal on Friday said “good days are about to come for sports and players" in the state.
He said the state government had started efforts to promote sports.
He was speaking at the inaugural of the 40th National Sub-Junior Archery Championship being held under the Chhattisgarh Archery Association here, an official statement said.
Chhattisgarh will get new recognition at the national and international level through such events, he said, adding the government was committed to promote sports.
