MGM Higher Secondary School commemorated the birth anniversary of Father Camille Bulcke on Monday. Principal Father Dr. Joshi Varghese, Vice Principal Rakhi Banerjee, and Headmistress Sapna Joshi honored his memory by garlanding his portrait.
Father Varghese highlighted Father Bulcke's contributions to Indian culture, including his journey from Belgium to India and his mastery of Hindi, Braj Bhasha, Awadhi, and Sanskrit. He also served as the Head of the Hindi and Sanskrit Department at St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, and was a key figure in promoting Hindi and Sanskrit.
The event featured poem recitations by students and a special song, "Hindi Hai Hum Sab," presented by Arya Ranjan. The program was hosted by Hari Priya and Ayushi Chaudhary, with teachers, staff, and students in attendance.
