Cyber crime Bhopal organized the first training and dialogue program of cyber volunteers registered on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal in the auditorium of the Police Commissioner's Office.
In the training program, apart from cyber volunteers, college students interested in cyber subjects and 40 trainees of Vellore Institute of Technology participated.
Under the training program, dialogue was held on methods related to prevention and protection of cyber crime and cyber volunteers expressed their commitment to cooperate in every possible way for the prevention of cyber crimes.
In the training program, Deputy Commissioner of Police Crime Akhil Patel, while interacting with the volunteers, gave information about the various types of cyber frauds prevalent at present and what precautions should be taken to avoid them. Along with this, Patel called upon the cyber volunteers to make people aware and spread the methods of protection from cyber crimes to the people around them.
In the training program, a presentation on cyber awareness was given by cyber expert Kuldeep Verma in which he shared how fraudsters trap us and what kind of precautions should be taken to avoid them.
Many technically skilled cyber volunteers who have been working on cyber security and cyber forensics subjects for a long time have registered on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, which will help the cyber police in the investigation of complex cyber crimes.
During the programme, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) will divide cyber experts according to police stations and motivate them to run cyber awareness campaigns in the police station areas.
