Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Singh Rajput has informed that on the demand of farmers, the period of farmer registration for procurement of paddy, jowar and bajra at support price in 6 districts has been extended till October 21. The period of farmer registration has been extended for Narmadapuram, Rewa, Satna, Singrauli, Damoh and Betul districts.
It is noteworthy that more than 7 lakh 66 thousand farmers have registered in the entire state. Procurement of millets will be done from November 22 and paddy from December 2.
