Every inch of POK belongs to India: Amit Shah

Saturday, 11 May 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

Union Home Minister Amit Shah today attacked the INDI Alliance and reiterated that the area in the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir belongs to India. “I want to tell the Congress and the INDI Alliance that POK belongs to India, nobody can snatch it. Instead of bringing POK back from Pakistan, the Congress is scaring the people of India by talking about the atom bomb. I don't know what has happened to the Congress. The BJP's stand is clear that every inch of POK belongs to India and should remain in India,” he said.

The Union Home Minister was addressing the Maha Vijay Sankalp Sabha of BJP candidate and Union Minister Arjun Munda in Khunti on Friday. He slammed the Congress, JMM and INDI alliance in the state. Addressing a huge public gathering, he said that a few days ago, Rs 350 crore cash was seized from the house of a Congress MP. All this money is yours, of my tribal brothers, which Rahul Baba's party has looted.

He said that just two days ago, Rs 35 crore and jewellery were recovered from the house of a Congress minister in Jharkhand. All this money belongs to the tribal brothers of Jharkhand and the people of the backward society. I want to tell the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha that the Congress you are sitting with to gain power, that Congress stopped the creation of Jharkhand for years. During the rule of the Congress, the tribals of the country were not taken care of at all. The Ministry of Tribal Welfare was also with a Joint Secretary of the Home Department. But the work of forming the Tribal Commission and the Ministry of Tribal Welfare was done by Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji.

Shah said that today I say with confidence that Narendra Modi has done the work of freeing Jharkhand and Bihar from Naxalism. Our Prime Minister has done the work of declaring the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda on 15th November as "Tribal Pride Day" and building special Tribal Freedom Fighter Museums across the country for all tribal freedom fighters.

He said that PFI used to spread terrorism in the whole country, it got the biggest support from the Congress and JMM government here. Narendra Modi raided more than 100 places in one night and put the entire cadre of PFI in jail and banned it.

The 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda will come in 2025. Modi ji has decided to celebrate 2025 as "Tribal Pride Year". This is a matter of pride for all of us. Mr Shah said that when Atal Bihari Vajpayee became the Prime Minister of the country, he worked to create and develop Jharkhand. Atal Ji created Jharkhand and Modi Ji is working to improve Jharkhand. Today this Manishanker Ayyar is threatening the country to give respect to Pakistan, they have the atom bomb. A few days ago, the leader of the same Indi Alliance, Farooq Abdullah had said that don't talk about POK, Pakistan has the atom bomb.

While addressing the rally, Arjun Munda said that the voice of Lord Birsa Munda should reach Delhi. Today we all have got to hear the address of such a Home Minister, due to which the internal security of the country has been strengthened. Today there is an atmosphere of peace in the whole country. The country wants to move forward with peace. The country wants to progress.

He said that PM Modi is working to promote the poor, youth, farmers and women power. All the decisions of our government are being taken in this regard. The aim of PM Modi is to raise the standard of living of the poor, village women should become Lakhpati Didi, our youth should get employment and the farmers of the country are our pride, their self-respect should be linked with the country.
