Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) has registered a case against the then president of the Panchseva Grih Nirman Sahakari Ashok Goyal and his associates.
Ashok Goyal already has several cases of fraud and forgery registered against him and he has gone to jail several times. At present, he is out on bail.
Complainant Anil Agarwal has complained to the Economic Offenses Wing that Ashok Goyal and his associates defrauded the members of Panchseva Grih Nirman Sahakari Sanstha of crores of rupees in the name of plot allotment.
He alleges that the money collected in the name of registry was used to sell land to other people illegally instead of plot allotment. Government exemption was also misused in this, causing huge loss to the state government.
Apart from Ashok Goyal, the complaint also includes the names of Manish Tiwari, Navjot Singh, Yawar Ali Khan and Riyaz Khan. All of them have been charged with serious charges like fraud, forgery and misuse of government property. Anil Agarwal alleges that by not giving plots to the members of the organization, their deposits were misused and their land was sold to other people.
Ashok Goyal has already been booked under several sections. He has serious allegations of fraud, forgery and misuse of government property. Currently, the Economic Offenses Wing has registered a case against Ashok Goyal and his associates in this case.
Officials said that many irregularities have come to light in the initial investigation and government rules have been violated. After the completion of the investigation, the properties of the accused can be confiscated.
In the case, complainant Anil Agarwal has demanded strict action from the government. He says that Ashok Goyal and his associates have cheated many people including his family. He expressed hope that after the investigation by the Economic Offenses Wing, the culprits will be punished and the victims will get justice.
