The Masonic Lodge Ground in Northern Town was abuzz with excitement as the Winter Carnival, organized by Art Lab on the initiative of Freemasons, brought together people of all ages for a day filled with joy and creativity. This event, a first of its kind, celebrated talent, local artistry, and community spirit.
The carnival had something for everyone—children, youth, and the elderly. A variety of stalls showcased handicrafts, calligraphy, paintings, and Christmas-themed items like Xmas trees and Santa dresses. Food stalls offered delicious treats, adding to the festive atmosphere. The highlight of the event was the platform it provided for young talents to hone their skills and expand their businesses.
Arun Raisurana, a senior member of Freemasons, shared the vision behind the carnival: "This Winter Carnival is not just about celebration; it’s about giving back to society. The funds raised will go towards charity, aiding those working for the betterment of our community. Additionally, we aim to encourage local artists and businesses through this event."
The event was a collective effort by several prominent contributors, including Digvijay Singh, GM Sharan, VK Barbhaya, Bharat Ladsariya, JR Amin, and others. Their dedication ensured the carnival’s success, leaving attendees with cherished memories and a renewed sense of community.
The Winter Carnival proved to be a vibrant platform for fostering creativity, showcasing local talent, and supporting charitable causes, setting a promising precedent for future events.
