The absconding main accused and factory owner in massive drug seizure case of Bagroda in the state capital was arrested on Thursday, ATS Gujarat and NCB Delhi raided a factory and seized drugs worth Rs 1800 crore.
On October 5 , a joint team of ATS Gujarat and NCB Delhi raided a closed factory located inside a in Plot No. F 63 of Bagroda Industrial area after receiving information of MD drugs being made at the unit.
A factory shed is allotted in the name of Jaideep Singh (58) of village Sawarkheda, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh who was presently living at H.No. 162 Neerja Nagar, J.K. Road, Bhopal.
He got the land allotted from AKVN in the name of a furniture factory. Jaideep Singh transferred the land in the name of SK Singh, which was not informed to AKVN and neither the police was informed.
Police Commissioner Bhopal issued order no. 162 to ensure that there is no threat to law and order and human life in Bhopal city.
The act of accused Jaideep Singh and S.K.Singh was prima facie found to be under section 223 of the BNS 2023 and was registered and taken into investigation.
Meanwhile Katara Hills police arrested a 29-year-old man who stole an ATM card and withdrew Rs 4 lakh; police have recovered Rs 2.37 lakh from the accused.
