Elaborate traffic diversions and parking arrangements will remain in place in the state capital as thousands of participants make their way to the Lal Parade Ground for the International Gita Mahotsava on Wednesday.
Starting at 8:30 AM, people attending the event can park at Aam Bagiya, ITI, and area outside the stadium. Buses will drop attendees at the Control Room Tiraaha and park at MVM Ground, Old Jail Ground, and MLA Rest House.
Buses coming from Bhopal will be directed to the Old Jail Ground, while buses from Vidisha, Sehore, and Raisen will be parked at MVM Ground.
Traffic congestion is expected on several routes, including Roshanpura Chauraha to Gandhi Park, DB Mall Tiraaha to Jail Road, and Lily Talkies intersection to Jahanagirabad.
For public transport, alternative routes have been arranged. Buses from New Market to Railway Station will take Apex Bank, Link Road No. 1, Board Office Chauraha, and other designated routes.
Similarly, buses returning to New Market will follow alternate paths via Bharat Talkies and Subhash Nagar Road Over Bridge (ROB).
Entry for public transport and authorized vehicles will be restricted on routes leading towards Lal Parade, including DB Mall Tiraaha to Jail Headquarters Rotary and Lily Chauraha to Police Headquarters. Authorities have urged the public to cooperate with traffic regulations to avoid inconvenience.
School and college students appearing for examinations, and those headed for railway stations, and the airport are advised to start early and take detours to avoid these areas. Ambulances and other health service response teams are also advised to take alternate routes.
