A 6-year-old boy was mowed down by a speeding truck at Venkatesh Golden Colony near Bhopal Memorial Hospital; the accused fled leaving the truck.
The accident was reported at around 4 pm on Friday. Residents have raised questions on the dumpers coming to the colony during the no entry time. They gathered at the police station accusing the police of negligence. They demanded to register a case against the accused.
Ayush Sarwar lived with his mother near Venkatesh Golden Colony Bhopal Memorial Hospital. He was the only boy among three siblings. At the time of the accident, he was returning after buying milk from Sanchi Parlour located outside the colony during which a truck coming from inside the colony hit him.

After hitting the child, the accused driver saw him and tried to run away.
