Habitual criminal booked for over a dozen crimes was nabbed by Ayodhyanagar while he was carrying 1.5 kg Cannabis on a scooter.
The accused Vishal Chauhan has several booked for theft, Arms Act, assault, extortion, and other crimes.
The accused was trying to sell ganja when the police caught him and seized about 1.5 kg Cannabis and goods worth about Rs 1.5 lakh including the scooter used in the incident.
Information was received that a person is carrying drugs on a scooter near Minal Gate No. 05 and is trying to sell. After confirming the information, the team caught, tracked and nabbed the accused.
The scooter vehicle used in crime was also seized from the accused. The accused was booked under section 8 and 20 NDPS Act.
