enior Congress leader and former MP Dr. Ajoy Kumar expressed confidence that the INDIA alliance will secure a majority and form the next government in Jharkhand. In a press statement issued on Tuesday, Dr. Kumar welcomed the Election Commission's announcement of the Jharkhand Assembly election dates and emphasized that the party is fully prepared for the polls.
Dr. Kumar highlighted the achievements of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, stating that the people of Jharkhand have already made up their minds to re-elect the government led by the INDIA alliance. "Hemant Soren has delivered excellent governance, and the public is ready to bring back the alliance to power," he said. He pointed out key initiatives like the Maiya Samman Yojana, where the monthly financial assistance for women has been increased to ₹2500, which he believes will benefit the alliance in the elections.
Further, Dr. Kumar noted the government’s efforts in improving education, healthcare, and introducing inclusive welfare schemes. He praised the Sarvajan Pension Scheme, which provides pension benefits to all communities, and lauded the Hemant Soren-led government for focusing on the welfare of lawyers in the state.
As Jamshedpur goes to the polls in the first phase, Dr. Kumar affirmed that their preparations are complete and that they are receiving significant support from the people. He expressed confidence in gaining the backing and cooperation of the voters in the upcoming elections.
