Under PM JANMAN (Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Adivasi Nayaya Maha Abhiyan) houses for the particularly vulnerable tribal group would be electrified. 

A DPR (detailed project report) of the PVTG households falling in the Daltonganj electricity division for electrification  has been readied and sent to the JBVNL, said the executive engineer electricity Shambhu Nath Choudhary. 

The executive engineer electricity Choudhary said, "We have identified 483 houses of the PVTG in the Daltonganj division rke. These households are to be electrified."

Choudhary further said, "Our DPR is worth 5 crore and 65 lakh of rupees. It is to be sanctioned by the JBVNL first."

Work for electrification of the household of the PVTG would take off later on. 

The electricity connection including installation of meters will come all free for the PVTG. 

Choudhary however said, "The consumer PVTG will have to pay the bill per month. If the family consumes 100 units or less than this then the family will have zero bill and no payment but if the consumption is 101 units then the PVTG family will have to pay electricity bill for 101 units. There is no relaxation."

"PVTG families live in difficult to reach locations. It is mostly unreachable by road. Here we are to electrify their houses. It is a highly challenging job and the electricity department is committed to do it" reiterated Choudhary. 

Hamlets of the PVTG abound in the Ramgarh block limits and these are deep in the jungles where infrastructures for rural electrification are to be set up first which is a gigantic task. 

Their electrification is to be done by 2026. Funding for this will be coalesced to the RDSS which is a revamped distribution sector system.
