The Centre for Criminal Justice Administration and Research at Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur, in collaboration with the Centre for Legislative Research & Reforms, successfully inaugurated a Two-Day Boot Camp on New Criminal Laws: Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA).
The inaugural ceremony began with a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of DNLU, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries and participants. Prof. Sinha highlighted the critical need for discussions around the newly enacted criminal laws and emphasized their impact on contemporary legal frameworks and societal reform.
Delivering the inaugural address, the Chief Guest, Justice Avanindra Kumar Singh, Judge of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh, lauded the initiative and congratulated the organizers for hosting such an important event. He underlined the significance of understanding and implementing these new legal frameworks and suggested legislative and executive measures for societal betterment.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Manwendra Kumar Tiwari, Associate Professor of Law, while Ms. Bhagyshree Agarwal, Teaching Associate served as the Master of Ceremony.
Spanning two days, from December 23 to 24, 2024, the boot camp is being conducted in a hybrid mode. The sessions are led by experts in criminal law namely Mukulita Vijayawargiya, Founder CLRR, Dharmendra Tada, District and Additional Sessions Judge, Bhopal, Sameer Kumar Mishra, Civil Judge Senior Division Jabalpur, Mr. Utkarsh Kumar Sonkar, Advocate M.P. High Court, Anubhav Jha, Assistant Professor RGNUL, Harsh Singh Bahrawat, Registrar (Admin), Mr. Gautam Gupta Director CJAR, Sankalp Singh, Assistant Professor DNLU. The event attracted participation from over 100 attendees from across India.
This initiative was meticulously planned and executed under the leadership of Prof Manoj Kumar Sinha, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, and Praveen Tripathi, Registrar (In-charge), SN Khare, Retired District Judge with the dedicated efforts of Gautam Gupta, Director CJAR, Mukulita Vijayawargiya, Founder CLRR, Sankalp Singh, Assistant Professor and Deepak Gautam, Teaching Associate, Shashank Pathak, Assistant Professor and Amit Mishra, Teaching Associate, Vishal Tripathi.
