Regarding the organization of a special Lok Adalat, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Principal District Sessions Judge cum DLSA President Rajesh Sharan Singh at his chamber, on Tuesday. He gave instructions to dispose of all the pending cases related to the Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Act in the special Lok Adalat organized on June 8.
Addressing the advocates and judicial officers, the Principal District Judge said that everyone's cooperation is needed in the execution of all the cases related to motor vehicle accidents in the special Lok Adalat. Because such sensitive cases in which the cooperation of dependents is very important, therefore, prompt disposal of these cases is necessary. He also instructed the insurance company and their advocates to cooperate in the execution of as many cases as possible and try to get proper compensation under the settlement agreement. He also instructed all the District and Sessions Judges to select the pending motor vehicle related cases in their court and issue notice to both the parties so that both the parties can appear in the special Lok Adalat for disposal of the case. He especially appealed to the advocates to cooperate in this matter and become a part of virtue by helping the family members of the deceased in the motor accident.
Apart from DLSA Secretary Ravi Choudhary and insurance company representatives, advocate Yudhishthir Giri, bar association president Gautam Krishna Sinha and other advocates were present in the meeting.
