Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasised that the development of India hinges on the honest fulfillment of one’s duties. He also administered the pledge of ‘Panch Pran’ to the people, saying that for a better India we will have to get rid of the mentality of slavery and be proud of the heritage.
“We should work to develop India, work with unity and integrity, and have a sense of civic duty,” he said.
Yogi participated in the Viksit Bharat Yatra along with Bharatiya Janata Party president JP Nadda on Sunday on Ring Road, Buddheshwar, where he distributed certificates to the beneficiaries of various schemes of the Central and state governments.
Yogi remarked that over the past nine and a half years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have observed the emergence of a new India, where comprehensive facilities are being offered to every citizen.
“Prime Minister Modi provided free housing facilities to four crore poor people. Additionally, facilities such as toilets, free cooking gas connections under the Ujjwala scheme, and free ration are being provided. During the COVID-19 period, free tests, free treatment and free vaccines were also made available,” he pointed out.
Earlier, Yogi and Nadda reached the house of former governor late Lalji Tandon. During this, both leaders paid tribute to late Ashutosh Tandon, son of late Lalji Tandon and former minister of Uttar Pradesh, and wished for the well-being of the family.
