Bokaro Steel Plant's Director In-Charge, BK Tiwari, paid a surprise visit to Bokaro General Hospital today. During his inspection, he reviewed the arrangements for the pre-joining health check-ups of contractual workers. Additionally, he visited various departments including the ENT, OPD, General OPD, and the newly established casualty wing, as well as the admission counter and other wards.
During his visit, Tiwari interacted with patients, inquiring about their issues and gathered direct feedback to improve hospital services further. He was accompanied by Dr. BK Karunamay, BGH In-Charge, and other senior medical professionals, who were provided with necessary instructions by the Director In-Charge.
It is noteworthy that Bokaro General Hospital, the largest medical facility in the region, is well-equipped with modern amenities. However, it often draws criticism for its operational management. Since inception Tiwari has focused on reducing patient complaints and ensuring the public receives improved healthcare services with a proactive approach.
