With the aim of making the upcoming Lok Sabha elections-2024 peaceful and fair in Dhar district, Superintendent of Police Dhar Manoj Kumar Singh instructed Additional Superintendent of Police Dhar Dr. Inderjit Bakalwar, against the miscreants involved in illegal betting, gambling, liquor manufacturing and smuggling in the district. To take legal action, all the SDOP/NPU of the district along with all the police station in-charges have been directed to take necessary action.
Under the leadership of SDOP Dhamnod Monica Singh, police station Dhamnod, police station Nalchha, police station Mandav and police station Dharampuri, in a joint action, raided village Butinala under police station Dhamnod area. Seeing the police, two accused fled from the spot. Police team seized 200 liters of raw hand kiln Mahua liquor, liquor making equipment hand kiln from the spot and about 50 quintals of Mahua Lahan worth Rs 2,00,000/- and registered crime number 240 in Dhamnod police station against both the absconding accused. The case of 241/24 Section 34(2) Excise Act was registered and taken into consideration.
