Devender attacks BJP, AAP for not working together for city development

Monday, 22 July 2024 | Staff Reporter | New Delhi

Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav on Sunday attacked the BJP and AAP for  indulging in blame games instead of working together for the development of the city.

Yadav said, “Despite the BJP having eight MLAs playing the role of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, more than 100 Councillors in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and seven MPs, the BJP has not been serving the interest of the people of Delhi while the Kejriwal Governmetn has been caught in its own contradictions to live a life of deceit and falsehood to betray the people of Delhi, as it has been.”

He accused the BJP of playing negative politics instead of finding a lasting solution to many problems dogging the Capital.

“So many elected representatives of its own from Delhi in Delhi Assembly, MCD and Parliament, why is the BJP is not able to come up with effective solutions to solve the problem in Delhi by utilizing their own  MP, MLA and Councillor funds for pollution control, environmental protection and enhancing the green cover?” Yadav questioned.
