Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Sunday accused BJP and the Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena of "messing" with the health of incarcerated Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and claimed that ‘they are hatching a conspiracy to kill the AAP supremo in jail’.

Addressing a press conference, Singh said that Kejriwal's medical report shows that anything can happen to him anytime. "The BJP is messing with Kejriwal's health. Earlier the BJP, the LG and jail administration said that Kejriwal is increasing his sugar by eating puris and sweets. They did not even give him insulin. Now they are saying that he is reducing his sugar by staying hungry. Will any person try to kill himself by reducing his sugar? “he stated.

Singh accused the central government and the LG of Delhi of playing with the life of Kejriwal. “The documents that the jail authorities have legally provided to Arvind Kejriwal's lawyer are enough to tell that any untoward incident can happen to Arvind Kejriwal inside the jail any day,” Singh claimed.

The MP questioned the LG and the jail administration for repeatedly spreading false news about Kejriwal's health and said, “If something untoward happens and even on the basis that he is lying, it can be a case of attempted murder. We are also taking advice from lawyers that a case of attempted murder should be registered against those involved in this conspiracy because this is an attempt to murder.”

He added that in collusion with the Central Government and the Prime Minister, the jail administration, LG's office and the entire BJP are conspiring to kill the Chief Minister. He alleged, “This is the reason that when he got bail from the lower court, ED took a stay from the High Court without a copy of the order and after that he was kept in jail by making a fake CBI case.”
