District Election Officer Bokaro,  Vijaya Jadhav chaired a crucial meeting via video conference here on Wednesday. The focus of the meeting was to ensure the provision of Assured Minimum Facilities (AMF) at polling stations.  Sandeep Kumar, Deputy Development Commissioner, was also present during the virtual session.

Jadhav, along with Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, and relevant officials, discussed strategies to guarantee AMF compliance across various blocks including Chas, Peterwar, Jaridih, Kasmar, Gomia, Nawadih, Chandrapura, Bermo, and Chandankiyari.

During the meeting, DC Jadhav instructed District Education Officers and District Education Superintendents to coordinate with school principals to certify that AMF is in place at polling centers. She also directed officials to expedite the maintenance and improvement of selected centers in collaboration with village chiefs and School Management Committees.

Furthermore,  Jadhav reviewed the progress of repairs and enhancements at some polling stations and urged coordination between Block Development Officers and Village Chiefs to swiftly complete the necessary tasks.

Additionally, discussions were held regarding the integration of names of eligible voters who were previously omitted, distribution of Form 6 for online application submission, and other essential directives to streamline the electoral process.

Overall such proactive measures and ongoing discussions underscore the commitment of election officials to ensure the convenience and security of voters during the electoral process.
