Delegation of Deprived Scheduled Castes meets Hry CM

Wednesday, 23 October 2024 | PNS | Chandigarh

A delegation of Deprived Scheduled Castes (DSC) from the state, led by Cabinet Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi and leading people of the society, expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for implementing sub-classification in reservation for Deprived Scheduled Castes on Tuesday.

In a function organized at the Chief Minister's residence in Chandigarh, Social Justice, Empowerment, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare and Antyodaya (SEWA) Minister Bedi and MLA Kapoor Singh Valmiki, on behalf of Haryana Scheduled Deprived Caste Society, honoured the Chief Minister by tying a turban on him. Saini, while saluting the people of the entire state including the Deprived Scheduled Castes, said all kinds of problems of Deprived Scheduled Castes will be resolved. Accepting the invitation given by the society, he also agreed to attend the rally organized by the society at any place in Haryana under the leadership of Cabinet Minister Bedi. The Chief Minister, while taking the name of each caste included in the DSC, saluted all of them and said the owner of the CM House are the people of Haryana. “You have given me the responsibility of a watchman here, and I am fulfilling it,” he said.

Saini, while interacting with the representatives, said the BJP does not play politics with the youth. “When I took charge with the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, I gave appointment letters to the youth for 15,000 jobs. On this, the anti-youth Congress reached the Election Commission and opposed giving appointment letters to the youth. The Commission put a stay till the election results came, but our government fulfilled the promise and gave employment to 25,000 households as soon as the election results came. The government is trying to have HCS and IAS level officers in ordinary homes as well,” he said.

"Made a surprise inspection of Sector 6 Panchkula Civil Hospital.
