Minister Baby Devi, Yogendra Prasad and former MLA Babita Devi participated in a program organized by Ekta Mahila Shakti Sangathan on Saturday in Gomia block in Bokaro district.
On this occasion, Minister Baby Devi said that in today's era, women are walking shoulder to shoulder with men. The state government has also launched many welfare schemes with the aim of promoting women empowerment, the benefits of which are directly available to women.
Enumerating the merits of the state government, he said that whether it is Savitri Bai Phule Yojana or Phool Jhano Ashirwad Yojana, women are getting the benefits of each scheme,added the minister.
Women are also moving forward by taking advantage of these schemes.She said that today the daughter has become a blessing rather than a curse, that is why people who want sons have also started desiring daughters.
Yogendra Prasad said that every scheme of the state government passes through the homes of the poor, and the poor are also getting the benefits of those schemes. She said that in earlier times, women were confined to homes only, but in today's time, women are moving forward everywhere. She also said that in today's time it is said that daughter is not a curse but daughter is a blessing.
