Cyber frauds use newer methods to ditch people

yber frauds are using newer mode for siphoning off hard earned money of the unsuspecting people. 

 

The latest case is a call to a pregnant woman who was asked to send her bank account for 6,000 rupees to be credited to her under Janni Shishu Surakchha Karyakaram. 

 

The pregnant woman came in the trap and sent her bank account. The cyber fraud then asked her to send the OTP. She gave and her one lakh of rupees was siphoned off by the cyber fraud. 

 

Officer in charge of the town police station Deobrat Poddar said this woman came to the police station asking for the cyber thana. She was helped with the information. 

 

Officer in charge of the cyber thana Vishram Oraon said this kind of victim has not till date approached the cyber thana. 

 

Around 3,000 pregnant women are expected to deliver babies in the coming three months from now here and as such it is highly essential to make them careful of such fraud payment for Janni Shishu Surakchha Karyakaram. 

 

Today a man came to the cyber thana crying that he lost 91,000 rupees when he was falsely told about his challans. 

 

Officer in charge of the cyber thana Vishram Oraon said he too had got a fraud call which he by his knowledge and experience got frustrated.
