Connecting with nature will bring prosperity and protection: AK Ambastha

Tuesday, 30 July 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

On the holy day of second Somwari, Kalpavriksha, known as the tree of Gods, was planted in the Shivpuri Shiv Temple complex.  The importance of this tree plantation, organized with full ritual and worship and cultural program, is also very high because this tree is left in very few numbers in the entire country and there are only three such Kalpavrikshas in Ranchi.

After planting trees, Akhilesh Kumar Ambastha, Additional Secretary, Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) said that instead of running around without any reason and joining a blind race by becoming more materialistic than necessary, we can achieve true prosperity only by connecting with nature. Only our nature will be protected and our culture and values will also be protected. Shri Ambastha, who was decorated with the honor of planting the supreme tree, expressed confidence that the Kalpavriksha will not only strengthen the faith, belief and trust of all the devotees as well as the devotees and visitors visiting the Shiva temple but will also connect everyone to their roots.

Speaking on the occasion, Shabnam Prasad, former Principal of Guru Gobind Singh School, said that the Kalpavriksha originated with the divine cow Kamadhenu during the churning of the ocean which fulfills all the needs and the plantation of this tree is the beginning of a new era. She said that according to the information received, this is the fourth Kalpavriksha of Ranchi. Mrs. Prasad said that the responsibility of protection, conservation and promotion of this tree lies with all the responsible people.

Speaking on this occasion, senior journalist Manoj Prasad said that the sacred Kalpavriksha, which is recognized as the tree of the gods, is very famous and revered. He said that in the 8th century, Adi Shankaracharya had performed penance under this tree and he considered it to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva.  He said that the identity of Kalpavriksha is linked to our civilization, culture, religion, faith and belief, hence today's tree plantation has a wide significance because such steps will not only protect the environment but will also help in avoiding problems like global warming. Kalavati Devi, Gopal Babu, Malay Kumar, Nagdev Yadav, Jata Mishra, David, Mansukh, Abhishek Kumar and many others were present in today's program.
