Empowering the tribal-indigenous, farmers, labourers, poor and deprived people here is the priority of our government. Our government has worked to empower half the population of the state. Now every eligible poor needy woman of the state will receive an honorarium of Rs 2500 per month in her account. The Chief Minister said that our government has increased the honorarium given to women from Rs 1 thousand to Rs 2500,” said Chief Minister Hemant Soren while addressing a program organized at Bhognadih in Barhet block under Sahibganj district on Saturday.
The CM said that after the re-formation of the Abua government, today I have come among you all. You participated enthusiastically in this election and worked to elect the Abua government. I express my gratitude to all of you for this.
The CM said in his address that despite Jharkhand state being rich in mineral wealth, the tribal-indigenous people here remained deprived of basic facilities. Since the formation of our government, we have been continuously working for the welfare of the people of the state along with protecting the interests of the people, in this sequence our government has launched many ambitious public welfare schemes. Various schemes of the government are being delivered to each and every person. Our government is moving forward with the objective that more and more people of the state should benefit from the schemes.
Soren said that our government is a government run from the village. The line of development is being drawn according to the needs of the poor, labourers and deprived class people here. He said that I will not let all your hopes and aspirations be shattered. Our government will write a new history of development and bring this state in the category of leading states. The Chief Minister said that I pray to God that the coming New Year brings happiness, prosperity, progress, grandeur and well-being in the lives of every citizen of the state.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister gifted various schemes worth about 24784.550 lakh rupees to Sahibganj district. In which a total of 224 development schemes were inaugurated and foundation stone was laid. In which 53 schemes were inaugurated and the foundation stone of 171 schemes was laid. At the same time, various schemes worth about 10084.879 lakh rupees were given to Pakur district. In which a total of 107 development schemes were inaugurated and foundation stone was laid. In which 34 schemes were inaugurated and the foundation stone of 73 schemes was laid.
On this occasion, MLA Hemlal Murmu, MLA Kalpana Soren, MLA Md. Tajuddin, MLA Dhananjay Soren, District Council President Monica Kisku, Santhal Pargana Division Commissioner Lalchand Dadel, District Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police along with other officials were present.
