CM gifts 733 schemes worth Rs 753 crore to Bokaro and Ramgarh districts

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today gifted 733 schemes worth about 753 crore 44 lakh rupees to Bokaro and Ramgarh districts in the program "Aapki Yojana- Aapki Sarkar- Aapke Dwar" at Bokaro. This includes the inauguration and foundation stone laying of 431 schemes worth Rs 40872.20 lakh under Ramgarh district, while the inauguration and foundation stone laying of 302 schemes worth Rs 52594.26 lakh was completed under Bokaro district. At the same time, assets worth about Rs 342 crore 90 lakh were distributed among thousands of beneficiaries of both the districts.

Addressing people in the programme at Lalpania in Gomia block under Bokaro district the CM said, “Today our government is reaching every village. The entire government machinery is present at your doorstep to solve your problems. Come forward and empower yourself by joining the schemes of the state government. Positive change in your life is our priority. Please keep your blessings. We will bring many new welfare schemes among you in the future too.”

The CM said that our government has taken a historic decision to implement the Jharkhand Chief Minister Maiyaan Samman Yojana towards the empowerment of half the population. Under this scheme, about 48 lakh women between 18 to 50 years will be given Rs 12 thousand in a year as honorarium. Its first installment has been released and today on the eve of Karam festival, the process of transferring the amount of the second installment is being completed. Not only this, our government will also work to deliver 1 lakh rupees every year to every household during the next 5 years, so that women can stand on their feet and strengthen their home and family.

The CM said that the government is committed to providing social security to the people of the state. Our government has implemented the Universal Pension Scheme. As a result, today no old person is deprived of pension. Now you do not have to wait to join the pension scheme. As soon as you become eligible to get pension, you start getting its benefits.

He said that today our government is giving you 200 free electricity, while our government has also decided to waive off the outstanding electricity bill, which has benefited lakhs of electricity consumers of this state. Our effort is to provide maximum convenience and facilities to the people of the state, so that they can move forward on the path of progress.

The CM said that our government is working to solve the pending problems of all categories of government employees who play an important role in bringing the development of the state on the ground. Whether it is to give old pension scheme to government employees or by fulfilling the demands of other government employees like Jal Sahia, Anganwadi Sevika- Sahayika, we are also working to bring smiles on their faces. Today, happiness is being seen on everyone's face due to the decisions taken by us.

The CM said that our government is taking the responsibility of everything from the education of girls to building their future. Now parents do not have to worry about the education of their daughters. More than 10 lakh girls have been linked with Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana so far. To enable our children to become doctors, engineers and officers, arrangements have been made to provide them education loan up to Rs. 15 lakh without any guarantee under Guruji Credit Card Yojana. At the same time, the government is bearing the entire cost so that our children can receive good education abroad. Along with this, for those who are interested in self-employment, an amount of up to Rs. 25 lakh is being provided by the state government under the Chief Minister's Employment Generation Scheme. Our effort is to provide the best possible opportunities to the youth to move forward.

In the programme, Ministers Satyanand Bhokta, Irfan Ansari, Baby Devi, MLAs Lambodar Mahato, Kumar Jayamangal Singh, State Backward Classes Commission Chairman Yogendra Mahato, Jharkhand State Coordination Committee member Fagu Besra, former MLA Mamta Devi, District Council Chairman Sunita Devi, IG, Coal Field Dr. S Michael Raj, DIG Surendra Kumar Jha, besides Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police of Ramgarh and Bokaro districts, several officers of the district administration were present.
