Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said that the way for the construction of Yogada Satsang Ashram-Bahu Bazar-Kanta Toli-Shanti Nagar, Kokar flyover could be cleared only with the cooperation, participation and commitment of all the state government, for this work I express my gratitude and thanks to all those people who have given their support directly and indirectly. Construction of any basic facility in Ranchi city is challenging. Unless everyone's cooperation is received, it is not easy to do the construction work. Today, with the start of this flyover, the residents of the capital will get relief from the traffic problem occurring every day. Our government is continuously strengthening and strengthening all types of basic facilities. In the coming days, road and flyover construction work will be done at many different places in the state.
The CM said that making the traffic system of the city smooth is the priority of the state government. Our government is working with commitment to continuously make the traffic system smooth and accessible in the capital Ranchi.
Soren was addressing people on the occasion of the inauguration-cum-foundation stone laying program of a total of 31 projects including "Yogda Satsang Ashram-Bahu Bazar-Kanta Toli-Shanti Nagar, Kokar Flyover, Ranchi Project (length - 2240 m), Sahajanand Chowk-Judge Colony Flyover, Sirmatoli-Kanta Toli Connecting Flyover, Birsa Chowk-Dhurva Gol Chakkar 4 lane path and Matkuriya Flyover and Kanko Chowk-Vinod Bihari Chowk-Gol Building 8-lane path, Dhanbad, organized by the Road Construction Department and Urban Development and Housing Department at Saint Paul Cathedral Ground, Sirmatoli, Ranchi on Friday.
The CM said that for this flyover to serve the residents of the capital in a better way, it is necessary that the pillars, street lighting etc. installed in this flyover are properly arranged. He said that sometimes people start encroaching places without any reason. They damage government properties. Government property is especially the property of the public, it does not mean that we ruin it to such an extent that it is of no use. It is very important to keep all these things in mind.
The CM said that this flyover is going to be 5 kilometers long in the coming time. Right now we are building a bridge near Sirmatoli Chowk, which is rarely seen on a railway crossing in the history of the country. He said that this work is very challenging but all these works are being done with the efforts of the state government. The CM said that within the next two-three months, the construction work of the flyover being built from Kantatoli-Sirmatoli-Mecon Chowk will be completed and will be dedicated to the service of the people of Ranchi.
The CM said that the construction work of two more important flyovers being laid today will be completed in the next one and a half years. He said that if the department takes up any scheme, special attention needs to be paid to how to compensate for the environmental damage. In the name of roads and railway lines, countless trees are cut, but only a formality is done in the name of planting them. Therefore, it is the duty of all of us to protect the environment.
The CM said that now the garbage of cities will not be dumped in the villages. Now, we too will have to be cautious. Big colonies and societies are being built. Solid waste management arrangements should be made in all societies and colonies. I will ask the department to issue an order for this soon.
