The School Education Department is celebrating Swachhta Pakhwada (Cleanliness Fortnight) to educate children studying in schools in the state about the significance of cleanliness. In the fortnight running till September 15 in the schools, activities focused on cleanliness will be carried out with the cooperation of children. For this, the department has written a letter to the District Collectors and District Education Officers and given instructions.

In the first two days of the fortnight, the students were administered the oath of cleanliness. During this, activities focused on cleanliness were conducted. On the third day, a strategy was prepared by the School Management Committee among the parents and teachers to maintain cleanliness in the school. During this, the children were told about the importance of washing hands with soap. Students were motivated to keep the drinking water area clean.
