A class 5 girl student died in suspicious circumstances in Bagh Farhat Afza on Monday at around 2 pm, she was found hanging with the railing of staircase; family claimed that she slipped and got strangled while initial probe reveals that the she committed suicide after she was not given mobile phone.
According to the police, Aizan Khan (14) lived in Bagh Farhat Afza. On Monday at around 2 pm, Aizan's uncle was leaving the house when she found Aizan hanging from a cloth on the railing of the stairs.
The family took her to the hospital, where the doctor declared him dead.
According to Aishbagh police station in-charge Jitendra Garhwal, it is not clear yet whether the teenager hanged himself or it was an accident. The case will be investigated from all angles. The details could be revealed only after the postmortem report as the statements of the family members are not recorded.
