C’garh for CBI probe into PSC recruitment

The Chhattisgarh government on Wednesday decided to recommend a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged irregularities in the state Public Service Commission examination 2021.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai here, an official statement said.

In the interest of the youth, the government has decided to hand over the complaints related to the irregularities to the CBI for a detailed investigation.

The CGPSC, in its examination 2021, released a selection list for 170 posts of 12 departments of the state government.

The BJP had promised to probe the alleged irregularities before Assembly elections last month in Chhattisgarh.

The cabinet also decided to buy a maximum of 21 quintals of paddy per acre (including linking) from farmers at a support price in the Kharif marketing year 2023-24.

The government has also decided to distribute free food grains to beneficiaries of Antyodaya and priority household ration card holders for the next five years with effect from January 1 to benefit 67,92,153 ration card holders.
